They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Onsjö FF booed when Polar Ice Caps was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Arne Beneth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ture Viklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Scherer in the 85th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denílson Scherer in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ture Viklund saved Polar Ice Caps from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Onsjö FF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
