After 18 minutes, Fortunato Stefano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Northmen Army and the Polar Ice Caps players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, The Northmen Army's Fortunato Stefano got a free kick in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximiliano Eron in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robin Bäckström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Northmen Army's Robin Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Eron in the 31st minute of play. Michael Hjelm kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Maximiliano Eron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Robin Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Eron in the 36th minute of play. Leonides Enaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximiliano Eron made a kick off. Maximiliano Eron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. The The Northmen Army fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 93 minutes into the match, Kiko Zimbo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henry Blom. Polar Ice Caps's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kiko Zimbo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Polar Ice Caps's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
