The audience thought a goal was coming when David Nordal got free with Anton Beck in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sture Dahlkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Beck having to interfere. Szimbas Lejonflock made a substitution. Sixten Blomkvist replaced Billy Dahlberg. Szimbas Lejonflock's Anton Beck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sture Dahlkvist in the 80th minute of play. Bolli Stopar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixten Blomkvist in the 86th minute of play. With a little luck, Szimbas Lejonflock's Anton Beck got control of the ball when David Nordal tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Aleksander Jönsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksander Jönsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
