An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Vollander in the 9th minute of play forced Baxters Boys's goalkeeper Börje Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Frank Novella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börje Albohm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Holmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baxters Boys's Börje Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Holmgren in the 23rd minute of play. After 41 played minutes Baxters Boys got a freekick which was hit by Tim Soned. Andreas Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uzay Gencalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute Martin Grøtterud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

51 minutes into the match, Baxters Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Vollander came free, but Börje Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Börje Albohm came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Stockholm IF's Sven Vollander. But to his dismay, Sven Vollander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Kevin Skarkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Sven Vollander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Börje Albohm was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Börje Albohm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Vollander in the 60th minute of the match. Börje Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Vollander, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Stockholm IF were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Baxters Boys's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martin Grøtterud took the corner. The supporters of Stockholm IF booed when Baxters Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Elg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baxters Boys's Börje Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Nordström in the 75th minute of play. After some careless play in the Baxters Boys defense, Kristoffer Bjurström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Börje Albohm. The Baxters Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Börje Albohm should have stopped the shot. In the 81st match minute, Baxters Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Strömqvist to maneuver through the defense.
