After a rather tough play, Melchester Rovers's Eric Pettersson got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Ronny Westerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Czeszejko in the 4th minute of play. Robíño Football Club's Svante Julin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Robíño Football Club from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the match, Robíño Football Club's goalkeeper Svante Julin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mårten Abrahamsson. Ronny Westerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villiam Hedbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Fang Ting Yan's late challenge caught a Melchester Rovers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fang Ting Yan helped the player get up and apologised. After 11 played minutes Robíño Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Fang Ting Yan. Robíño Football Club's Svante Julin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Meck in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Robíño Football Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hans Svensson was slow to take the kick. During this time Melchester Rovers's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fang Ting Yan in the 15th minute of play forced Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper Ronny Westerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svante Julin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mårten Abrahamsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Czeszejko in the 20th minute of play forced Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper Ronny Westerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronny Westerberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Pasha Azizi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Westerberg having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Robíño Football Club's Fang Ting Yan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronny Westerberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 46th minute Karol Czeszejko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Westerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig Vikström charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig Vikström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
In the 51st match minute, Melchester Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Strömberg to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Melchester Rovers's Ronny Westerberg got control of the ball when Martin Arab tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 55 minutes Melchester Rovers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonatan Olenberg who took care of the corner kick. Robíño Football Club's Jonatan Olenberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ronny Westerberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 57th minute Villiam Hedbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Westerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute Mårten Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svante Julin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Pasha Azizi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronny Westerberg made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Martin Arab sent off a good shot on target. Ronny Westerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Villiam Hedbom in the 64th minute of the match. When Fang Ting Yan came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Robíño Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fang Ting Yan couldn't finish the play. Svante Julin came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Melchester Rovers's Stig Vikström. But to his dismay, Stig Vikström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Mårten Abrahamsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronny Westerberg made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Karol Czeszejko sent off a good shot on target. Svante Julin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig Vikström's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Ronny Westerberg was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Panait Mazăre capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Panait Mazăre really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karol Czeszejko got free with Ronny Westerberg in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Robíño Football Club players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
