After 9 played minutes, White Hart Lane's Kenneth Söderqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Skënder Salihaj came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Esbjörn Apelquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Groth in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Jakab Boross made a precise shot to the right of Esbjörn Apelquist. White Hart Lane's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Skënder Salihaj stood somewhat misplaced when Dick Wennerberg came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 21 minute.
