Fabio Muñoz came out of the goal and Nickolai Nickerson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the match, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Nässén came free, but Eric Soned reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Muñoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nickolai Nickerson in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes in the game Tord Kielstedt did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Hector Geracimos. Nickolai Nickerson scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Muñoz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the game, Nickolai Nickerson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Fabio Muñoz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24thth minute of the game Nickolai Nickerson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Björkmo's Fabio Muñoz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nickolai Nickerson struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Fabio Muñoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Étoile Sportive Du Sahel. Fabio Muñoz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nickolai Nickerson's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Fabio Muñoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nickolai Nickerson in the 34th minute of play. Eric Soned showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Asur in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Asur in the 37th minute of play forced Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goalkeeper Eric Soned to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, AC Björkmo's Elof Björck seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Elof Björck the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AC Björkmo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Elof Björck had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 46 minutes into the game, one of AC Björkmo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Fabio Muñoz, was totally fooled by Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Nickolai Nickerson, who 49 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruno Asur to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Eric Soned got control of the ball when Bertil Nässén tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nickolai Nickerson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertil Nässén got free with Eric Soned in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Nickolai Nickerson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 66 minutes into the game, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Nickolai Nickerson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Muñoz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Rei Bolas was substituted for Morgan Möllgren. Carlo Ancelotti might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Muñoz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlo Ancelotti ran back to his position shaking his head. Nickolai Nickerson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabio Muñoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Ancelotti in the 73rd minute of the match. Eric Soned made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Andreas Hegg sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute Carlo Ancelotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Muñoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Muñoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Ancelotti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Nickolai Nickerson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Muñoz. AC Björkmo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nickolai Nickerson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After 86 played minutes AC Björkmo got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Albom. After having played for 88 minutes, Carlo Ancelotti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlo Ancelotti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in AC Björkmo's zone, Rei Bolas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Muñoz came out of the goal and Rei Bolas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the game, Tord Kielstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Björkmo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Étoile Sportive Du Sahel the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, AC Björkmo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Kielstedt to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Muñoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nickolai Nickerson, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
