After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ted Almstedt made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of JKs Talanger booed when Runa United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louis Melin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, JKs Talanger's Christopher Kock sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils-Erik Åhlberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nils-Erik Åhlberg came out of the goal and Peter Mpenza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Runa United's Nils-Erik Åhlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Runa United from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute, Peter Mpenza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils-Erik Åhlberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The audience was convinced that Peter Mpenza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Peter Mpenza made a precise shot to the right of Nils-Erik Åhlberg. Runa United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. JKs Talanger walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
