The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Beka Yumin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jens-Åke Källberg, 1-0. 9 minutes into the game, Torgny Landin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Lennart Johansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jens-Åke Källberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas-Jan Thomas in the 11th minute of the match. Lennart Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Landin in the 14th minute of play. Boca Juniors were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Lilla Jordberga BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vilhelm Holm took the corner. Jorge Mendiko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Jens-Åke Källberg made a huge save. Lennart Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Landin in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match Lilla Jordberga BK got a corner. Boca Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Simão Rosado ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Simão Rosado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg did a great save. Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Mendiko in the 25th minute of play. Jorge Mendiko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jens-Åke Källberg made a huge save. Torgny Landin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lennart Johansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. When Simão Rosado came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Lilla Jordberga BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simão Rosado couldn't finish the play. After 34 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Löfgren. Lilla Jordberga BK were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Boca Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Simão Rosado took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Aurelio Vinciguerra managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Lennart Johansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Landin, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Gustav Stenkvist got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute, Nils-Emil Bergren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torgny Landin in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lennart Johansson saved Lilla Jordberga BK from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Mendiko made a kick off. Jens-Åke Källberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Mendiko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens-Åke Källberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Rosado in the 54th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Torgny Landin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lennart Johansson. That made the score 1-2 in the 55 minute of play. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Torgny Landin hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas-Jan Thomas came free, but Jens-Åke Källberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Åke Källberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas-Jan Thomas in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute Thomas-Jan Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Källberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Torgny Landin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lennart Johansson was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Harry Hedling replaced Niklas Kjellberg. Boca Juniors's Jiang Xuan Nan was substituted for Jan Höijer. Boca Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vilhelm Holm in the 69th minute. It was a well-played corner which Jiang Xuan Nan managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Landin in the 71st minute of play forced Lilla Jordberga BK's goalkeeper Lennart Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens-Åke Källberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas-Jan Thomas in the 74th minute of play. Boca Juniors's Gustav Stenkvist managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tiburcio Buinton in the 75 minute of the game. In the 76th minute Torgny Landin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lennart Johansson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Boca Juniors eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
