In the 8th minute Henry Näver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Cassar Torreggiani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Blåvitt's zone, Folke Melin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mike Cassar Torreggiani came out of the goal and Folke Melin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Örjan Johansson in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Malcolm Wall saved Pauliström from getting behind. Pauliström's Malcolm Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Lundberg in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Stefan Eriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Blåvitt fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Blåvitt's Gösta Lundberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Örjan Johansson in the 23rd minute of play forced Pauliström's goalkeeper Malcolm Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Eriksson hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Folke Melin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Mike Cassar Torreggiani when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Gösta Lundberg put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Malcolm Wall.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Folke Melin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Gösta Lundberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pauliström's Malcolm Wall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 55th minute Örjan Johansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcolm Wall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Albert Andberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pauliström's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blåvitt the free kick. In the 56th minute, Albert Andberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henry Näver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alf Hansson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Malcolm Wall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Örjan Johansson's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute Henry Näver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Cassar Torreggiani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gösta Lundberg in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Malcolm Wall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gösta Lundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Örjan Johansson put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Malcolm Wall. After a rather tough play, Blåvitt's Jan-Erik Olofsson got a free kick in the 95th minute. Blåvitt's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
