The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by József Murai during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. József Murai kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Stor Klack's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hampus Albohm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Cai Espinosa charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cai Espinosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Worst Team Ever getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Petter Hansson hit a great ball. Evert Norberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rein Douwes in the 29th minute. Nolmyra FC's Hampus Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stor Klack in the 30th minute of play. Hampus Albohm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cai Espinosa in the 37th minute of the match. In the 37thth minute of the game Cai Espinosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nolmyra FC's Hampus Albohm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evert Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rein Douwes, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. A collision led to Worst Team Ever getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ralf Pettersson hit a great ball. Cai Espinosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Hampus Albohm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Bror Sundström made the kick off in the second half. Hampus Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Espinosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd match minute, Nolmyra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Handley Woodbridge to maneuver through the defense. Evert Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rein Douwes in the 57th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Worst Team Ever's Cai Espinosa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hampus Albohm. That made the score 1-1 after 58 minutes of play. When Rein Douwes came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Nolmyra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rein Douwes couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute Bror Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Petter Hansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes Worst Team Ever got a freekick which was hit by József Murai. The audience was convinced that Bror Sundström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evert Norberg was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. The supporters of Worst Team Ever booed when Nolmyra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orvar Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Worst Team Ever's Ralf Pettersson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nolmyra FC. A collision led to Nolmyra FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Rein Douwes hit a great ball. Evert Norberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rein Douwes in the 80th minute of the match. Hampus Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Espinosa in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sindre Westerlund in the 84th minute of play forced Worst Team Ever's goalkeeper Evert Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Hampus Albohm managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Worst Team Ever's Stor Klack fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Evert Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rein Douwes, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute Rein Douwes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nolmyra FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Ralf Pettersson scored to the left of an out of position Hampus Albohm, making the score, 1-2. Worst Team Ever's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
