Karlsborg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Eddie Sörman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mattias Håkansson, 2-0. Fomac FK's Erland Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Norberg in the 12th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Fomac FK's Mattias Håkansson threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eddie Sörman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 18th minute, Fomac FK's Eddie Sörman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 29th minute Fomac FK were awarded a corner. Tobias Stenström went to the cornerflag to take it. Kaj Kruuse made a great header on Fomac FK's corner, it was just that Karlsborg's Mattias Håkansson managed to reach the ball for a save. Fomac FK's Erland Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Brolin in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Karlsborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Borre to maneuver through the defense. Erland Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Norberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hans Norberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erland Söderberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Hans Norberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erland Söderberg. Fomac FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hans Norberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Armando Paraibano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 48th playminute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hans Norberg to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Paraibano in the 57th minute of play forced Karlsborg's goalkeeper Mattias Håkansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58thth minute of the game Eddie Sörman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karlsborg's Mattias Håkansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eddie Sörman in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mattias Håkansson saved Karlsborg from getting behind. Karlsborg's Mattias Håkansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Sörman in the 61st minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Karlsborg's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Paraibano came free, but Mattias Håkansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Fomac FK's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Ekeberg came free, but Erland Söderberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erland Söderberg made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Kenny Ekeberg sent off a good shot on target.
