An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Paraibano in the 2nd minute of play forced Karlsborg's goalkeeper Mattias Håkansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mattias Håkansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Sörman, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Mattias Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flóki Ólafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute of the match Fomac FK got a corner. Karlsborg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tobias Stenström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mattias Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Brattås, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eddie Sörman in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mattias Håkansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mattias Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flóki Ólafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonny Brattås took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mattias Håkansson. Mattias Håkansson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 23 minutes into the game, Eddie Sörman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Mattias Håkansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Flóki Ólafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mattias Håkansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Flóki Ólafsson notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Karlsborg's Mattias Håkansson. Mattias Håkansson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute, Charlie Bark ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erland Söderberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flóki Ólafsson in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mattias Håkansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fomac FK were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Karlsborg's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tobias Stenström took the corner. In the 42nd minute, Jonny Brattås hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th match minute, Karlsborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiktor Karlstedt to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eddie Sörman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Karlsborg's Mattias Håkansson got control of the ball when Eddie Sörman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Paraibano got free with Mattias Håkansson in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Fomac FK's Tobias Stenström to fire away a dangerous shot which Mattias Håkansson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mattias Håkansson stood somewhat misplaced when Eddie Sörman came free in front of goal and shot 2-4 to the left of him in the 56 minute. Flóki Ólafsson struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Mattias Håkansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fomac FK. Mattias Håkansson was a little too slow when Eddie Sörman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 2-5. In the 64thth minute of the game Armando Paraibano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karlsborg's Mattias Håkansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute Eddie Sörman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Håkansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Flóki Ólafsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mattias Håkansson, 2-6. In the 73rd minute, Fomac FK's Flóki Ólafsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-7. Fomac FK's Peder Rolfsson was substituted for Flóki Ólafsson. In the 80th match minute, Karlsborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Borre to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peder Rolfsson in the 81st minute of play forced Karlsborg's goalkeeper Mattias Håkansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mattias Håkansson made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Peder Rolfsson sent off a good shot on target. Karlsborg's Mattias Håkansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Karlsborg from getting a goal against them. Mattias Håkansson was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Peder Rolfsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Peder Rolfsson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-8. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Mattias Håkansson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
