Leeds United FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Bongbong Dunđer scored to the left of an out of position John Bergström, making the score, 1-0. Arvid Jansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Ove Ånger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arvid Jansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Ove Ånger's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Dan Rönn hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ove Ånger in the 40th minute of play forced Trixande Fåglar BK's goalkeeper Arvid Jansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bongbong Dunđer was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Trixande Fåglar BK's Arvid Jansson got control of the ball when Jan-Ove Ånger tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 51 played minutes Trixande Fåglar BK got a freekick which was hit by Ove Ferm. Josef Hellbom struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gordon Strachan got free with Arvid Jansson in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Trixande Fåglar BK's Emanuel Ferm was substituted for Joar Mellbad. Walery Poniewaz kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Walery Poniewaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leeds United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walery Poniewaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arvid Jansson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sture Tolsson. After a rather tough play, Trixande Fåglar BK's Ove Ferm got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Leeds United FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
