He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rank 1 reached it. Rank 1's Marcus Hagström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Melberg in the 26th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Sten Melberg took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Marcus Hagström to make any attempt to save it. Sten Melberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcus Hagström having to make a save. Gösta Beckman's late challenge caught a Di Röe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gösta Beckman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, Rank 1 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Beckman to maneuver through the defense. Sten Melberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcus Hagström could save by the left post. Sten Melbergs short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Marcus Hagström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 41st minute Fabiano Antonini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Kristiansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Rank 1 getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Gösta Beckman hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Sten Melberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Hagström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sten Melberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcus Hagström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Melberg in the 56th minute of the match. Sten Melberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Hagström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sten Melberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Rank 1 defense, Sten Melberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Hagström. The Rank 1 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Hagström should have stopped the shot. Di Röe's Romeo Gologan was substituted for Sten Melberg. Di Röe made a substitution. Ivan Drake replaced Edu Loss. Di Röe's Arnaldo da Fonseca was substituted for Elliot Kellbom. After 67 minutes, Romeo Gologan made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rank 1's Marcus Hagström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rank 1's Marcus Hagström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Gologan in the 69th minute of play. Marcus Hagström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Herman Benett was slow to take the kick. During this time Di Röe's players had a chance to rest. Romeo Gologan made a great header on Di Röe's corner, it was just that Rank 1's Marcus Hagström managed to reach the ball for a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rank 1 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Di Röe.
