Åke Olenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Timmy Bergfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Villiam Askelöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Stig Rydelius sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Woopbongo's Nils-Åke Dahlqvist threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lars Vik, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Villiam Askelöf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Wallengren, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Edgar Albohm sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the match, Woopbongo's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Snell came free, but Villiam Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Woopbongo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutger Billberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Ivar Wallengren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timmy Bergfeldt to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Woopbongo got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Lindholm. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaf Snell got free with Villiam Askelöf in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Timmy Bergfeldt came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Wetterqvist Boys BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timmy Bergfeldt couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute Ivar Wallengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Villiam Askelöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 played minutes Woopbongo got a freekick which was hit by Stig Rydelius. Ivar Wallengren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Villiam Askelöf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Albohm in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Sverker Blomberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Villiam Askelöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Erik Låsberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Villiam Askelöf having to make a save. 67 minutes into the match, Woopbongo's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Erik Låsberg came free, but Villiam Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Wetterqvist Boys BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Woopbongo throughout the match.
