Kasper Björklund scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Allan Hedvall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, FC White Blues's goal looked a bit too open when Kasper Björklund came free, but Allan Hedvall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes Sundets Pärla FC got a freekick which was hit by Kasper Björklund. Dan Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Hellbom in the 23rd minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Sundets Pärla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Oskar Ljungberg came free, but Dan Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Hellbom in the 32nd minute of play forced Sundets Pärla FC's goalkeeper Dan Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Clodoveo Fliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Östen Lägdin kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Sundets Pärla FC's Tomas Blom seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tomas Blom the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sundets Pärla FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tomas Blom had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Sundets Pärla FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC White Blues:s goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Östen Lägdin to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sundets Pärla FC booed when FC White Blues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Persson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dan Söderström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Östen Lägdin in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Sundets Pärla FC's goalkeeper Dan Söderström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Östen Lägdin. Allan Hedvall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasper Björklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 85th minute, FC White Blues's Dick Hellbom dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Dan Söderström was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Adrian Dahlberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adrian Dahlberg really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. After having played for 92 minutes, Arne Back managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sundets Pärla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Back was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute Clodoveo Fliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Hedvall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 played minutes Sundets Pärla FC got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Vigil. Dick Hellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sundets Pärla FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC White Blues were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
