Seppe Dobbeleir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Lundberg in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Richard Lustig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seppe Dobbeleir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Lundberg scored 2-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Seppe Dobbeleir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute Valdis Kļavlapa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seppe Dobbeleir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

With an all-out effort, Asarum's Carsten Eckstein threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 龙文轩, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
