Stefan Karlstedt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Pablo Campodónico made a huge save. In the 14th match minute, Cosmopolitan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Erik Gustavsson to maneuver through the defense. Petter Lindell shot from long distance after 15 played minutes, a shot that Vilgot Tidéksson with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. After 17 minutes, Nils-Erik Gustavsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cosmopolitan FC and the Mockfjärd players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Cosmopolitan FC got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Erik Gustavsson. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ludvig Nyqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mockfjärd's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludvig Nyqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilgot Tidéksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 24 minutes into the match, Cosmopolitan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ludvig Nyqvist came free, but Vilgot Tidéksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilgot Tidéksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Ekström in the 30th minute of the match. Vilgot Tidéksson came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Mockfjärd's Ludvig Nyqvist. But to his dismay, Ludvig Nyqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mário Kempes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bo Ekström got free with Vilgot Tidéksson in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vilgot Tidéksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludvig Nyqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Mário Kempes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cosmopolitan FC's Alvin Berg was substituted for Svante Kinell. Cosmopolitan FC's Osvaldo Ermano was substituted for Torsten Jonsson. When Petter Lindell fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mockfjärd's protests and gave Petter Lindell a yellow card for diving instead. Vilgot Tidéksson was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Nils-Åke Hedvall capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nils-Åke Hedvall really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. With his leg Vilgot Tidéksson managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Mockfjärd's Nils-Åke Hedvall fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Nils-Åke Hedvall got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 76 minutes, Txomin Clos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cosmopolitan FC and the Mockfjärd players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mockfjärd booed when Cosmopolitan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Txomin Clos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Mockfjärd's Ludvig Nyqvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils-Åke Hedvall got free with Vilgot Tidéksson in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nils-Åke Hedvall received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vilgot Tidéksson came out and tried to block the shot, but Nils-Åke Hedvall slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 82nd minute. Vilgot Tidéksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Ekström, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Ludvig Nyqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Campodónico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldo Ermano's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After 94 played minutes Cosmopolitan FC got a freekick which was hit by Bo Kinell. The Cosmopolitan FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mockfjärd were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
