Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Maarten Mur started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute of the match, Nils-Åke Hedvall got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vilgot Tidéksson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A throw-in in the 7th minute of the game was made by Bengt Fristedt with Bo Kinell as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 9 minutes into the match, Cosmopolitan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maarten Mur came free, but Vilgot Tidéksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes Cosmopolitan FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Giuseppe Sá who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Johan Jönsson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 16 minutes, Nils-Åke Hedvall made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cosmopolitan FC's Vilgot Tidéksson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Cosmopolitan FC booed when Mockfjärd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maarten Mur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mockfjärd's Johan Jönsson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Stefan Karlstedt, made in the 22nd minute of the game. Cosmopolitan FC's Vilgot Tidéksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Åke Hedvall in the 26th minute of play. Svante Kinell kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Bo Ekström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Vilgot Tidéksson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Cosmopolitan FC's Torsten Jonsson got a free kick in the 37th minute. With an all-out effort, Mockfjärd's Vilgot Tidéksson threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maarten Mur, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vilgot Tidéksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Larsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Mockfjärd's Nils-Åke Hedvall got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 52nd minute Bo Kinell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Campodónico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Mockfjärd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petter Lindell to maneuver through the defense. Vilgot Tidéksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maarten Mur in the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to Cosmopolitan FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Bengt Fristedt hit a great ball. Cosmopolitan FC's Evert Pihlgren was substituted for Osvaldo Ermano. Bengt Fristedt kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maarten Mur in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vilgot Tidéksson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute Maarten Mur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilgot Tidéksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Maarten Mur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vilgot Tidéksson was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Vilgot Tidéksson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maarten Mur's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute Bo Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilgot Tidéksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vilgot Tidéksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Åke Hedvall in the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Mockfjärd's Maarten Mur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vilgot Tidéksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Cosmopolitan FC's Alvin Berg was substituted for Torsten Jonsson. Vilgot Tidéksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Ekström, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Evert Pihlgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Pablo Campodónico made a huge save. Svante Kinell kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Vilgot Tidéksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Ekström, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. If Bo Ekström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mockfjärd walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
