The audience was convinced that Wander Suzanne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tolga Tümkurt was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the match, Wander Suzanne had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tolga Tümkurt. Strong Survive's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wander Suzanne was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Tolga Tümkurt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Malbec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tolga Tümkurt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Don Malbec's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Charlotte FC were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Strong Survive's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wander Suzanne took the corner. Charlotte FC's Wander Suzanne was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tolga Tümkurt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Owens in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bryant Miles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Charlotte FC's Wander Suzanne got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tolga Tümkurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don Malbec in the 27th minute of play. Tolga Tümkurt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Malbec in the 31st minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Bo-Erik Jönsson's late challenge caught a Charlotte FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bo-Erik Jönsson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Charlotte FC booed when Strong Survive was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo-Erik Jönsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Saul Owens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryant Miles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Strong Survive's goalkeeper Tolga Tümkurt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wander Suzanne. In the 61st minute, one of Strong Survive:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Strong Survive. Strong Survive:s Tolga Tümkurt showed great skill when he stopped Wander Suzanne:s penalty. In the 65th minute, Saul Owens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. After 75 minutes of play, Charlotte FC's Kaja Jamak made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Rafferty's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tolga Tümkurt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Tolga Tümkurt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vicente Rafferty showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 82 minute of play. A collision led to Strong Survive getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Vidar Alegren hit a great ball. Tolga Tümkurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don Malbec in the 86th minute of play. Bryant Miles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Owens, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Charlotte FC's Felix Dias got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Charlotte FC played a much better game than Strong Survive and deserved their victory. The Strong Survive players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
