Stanton Mueller was slow to take the kick. During this time ARMENIAN 11's players had a chance to rest. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ARMENIAN 11's goalkeeper Gregorio Green, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a little luck, Charlotte FC's Bryant Miles got control of the ball when 叶洋誉 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bryant Miles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neal Drew in the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Charlotte FC's Antoine Hankins got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 74 played minutes, ARMENIAN 11's 叶洋誉 shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bryant Miles came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line.
