After 27 minutes of play, Key Biscayne FC's Dustin Burton made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guilherme Veiga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guilherme Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georges Collard in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Key Biscayne FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Keenan Worthington fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lonnie Hurley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Trey Echols in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Trey Echols got free with Lonnie Hurley in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Key Biscayne FC's Lonnie Hurley got control of the ball when Trey Echols tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lonnie Hurley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Trey Echols in the 45th minute. Trey Echols could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Lonnie Hurley made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Trey Echols was the one to do the kick off. When Keenan Worthington fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Miami Futbol Club's protests and gave Keenan Worthington a yellow card for diving instead. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guilherme Veiga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 53rd match minute, Key Biscayne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korey Reed to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Trey Echols's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lonnie Hurley was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Nathanial Coppack was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Miami Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest. James Joyner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lonnie Hurley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chance Adams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodney Hagen in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lonnie Hurley saved Key Biscayne FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Chance Adams's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lonnie Hurley was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 85thth minute of the game Chance Adams who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Key Biscayne FC's Lonnie Hurley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute, Cody McKay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Key Biscayne FC's Lonnie Hurley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chance Adams in the 88th minute of play.
