With a little luck, Key Biscayne FC's Lonnie Hurley got control of the ball when Nicky Bryson tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Hogue in the 8th minute of play forced C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Jannes Ruttens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Dustin Burton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannes Ruttens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Key Biscayne FC's goalkeeper Lonnie Hurley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicky Bryson. In the 10th minute, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Nicky Bryson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A collision led to Key Biscayne FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ali Hogue hit a great ball. Key Biscayne FC's Lonnie Hurley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Key Biscayne FC from getting a goal against them. Nicky Bryson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Nicky Bryson sped through Key Biscayne FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lonnie Hurley. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Hogue in the 29th minute of play. Cesario Irazu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Nicky Bryson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Lonnie Hurley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Key Biscayne FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cody McKay in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Nicky Bryson got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th match minute, C. A. Pipon Pipon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bozhin Bishkarov to maneuver through the defense. After 45 played minutes, Key Biscayne FC's Cody McKay shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jannes Ruttens came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Key Biscayne FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dustin Burton in the 47th minute of play forced C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Jannes Ruttens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Georges Collard to strike the kick off in the second half. Georges Collard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jannes Ruttens having to make a save. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georges Collard in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of C. A. Pipon Pipon booed when Key Biscayne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mulky Kuswandi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Key Biscayne FC's Alex Hyatt was substituted for Ali Hogue. C. A. Pipon Pipon made a substitution. Jose José replaced Bozhin Bishkarov. Lonnie Hurley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Montenegro in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm McIntosh in the 92nd minute of play forced Key Biscayne FC's goalkeeper Lonnie Hurley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
