With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesar Donio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 10 minutes, Lv Zhou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOS BUITRES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lv Zhou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. San Antonio HotSPURS's Antonio Corley got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in LOS BUITRES fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! In the 18th minute, San Antonio HotSPURS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Christian Kellbom fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Antonio Corley succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Cesar Cornelius's late challenge caught a San Antonio HotSPURS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesar Cornelius helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, LOS BUITRES's Cesar Cornelius got a free kick in the 25th minute. LOS BUITRES's Truman Harrington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Corley in the 31st minute of play. In the 31st minute, Antonio Corley made a precise shot to the right of Truman Harrington. LOS BUITRES's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Truman Harrington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonso Snider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Leroy Vega ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Truman Harrington was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Thanks to some nice moves Xavier Salazar could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Cesar Donio however easily saved by the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Truman Harrington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Corley in the 51st minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Cesar Cornelius in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by San Antonio HotSPURS's Weldon Gibbs. Alonso Snider could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Truman Harrington made a huge save. Truman Harrington was a little too slow when Antonio Corley got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 1-4. Truman Harrington stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alonso Snider's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. If Alonso Snider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. San Antonio HotSPURS made a substitution. Stefanos Kassanos replaced Sergio Hammer. San Antonio HotSPURS's Stewart Pritchard was substituted for Cary Wright. LOS BUITRES's Narciso Socorro was substituted for Laurence Suggs. Narciso Socorro went to the cornerflag to take it. Truman Harrington made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Alonso Snider sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of LOS BUITRES booed when San Antonio HotSPURS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Norino didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fan Xiang Kuan in the 89th minute of play forced San Antonio HotSPURS's goalkeeper Cesar Donio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
