Joaquim Vilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Donio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonso Snider in the 10th minute of play forced El Canalla de Chicago's goalkeeper Wilbur Hyde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Canalla de Chicago's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Artemio Norino was slow to take the kick. During this time San Antonio HotSPURS's players had a chance to rest. After 14 played minutes El Canalla de Chicago got a freekick which was hit by Nathan Shannon. The audience was convinced that Alonso Snider's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilbur Hyde was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. El Canalla de Chicago's Wilbur Hyde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonso Snider in the 18th minute of play. San Antonio HotSPURS's Antonio Corley was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilbur Hyde in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Domingo Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Donio having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Corley came free, but Wilbur Hyde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Joaquim Vilar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cesar Donio, 2-0. With a little luck, San Antonio HotSPURS's Cesar Donio got control of the ball when Domingo Lopez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Artemio Norino in the 47th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by El Canalla de Chicago's Emmanuel Lockhart. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

60 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Alonso Snider came free, but Wilbur Hyde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonso Snider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilbur Hyde having to interfere. El Canalla de Chicago made a substitution. Justin Raines replaced Hugo Hubbard. Alonso Snider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Wilbur Hyde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Canalla de Chicago made a substitution. Armando Leobardo replaced Claude Mueller. 69 minutes into the match, San Antonio HotSPURS's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Vilar came free, but Cesar Donio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th match minute, El Canalla de Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Greenberg to maneuver through the defense. San Antonio HotSPURS's Stewart Pritchard was substituted for Cary Wright. San Antonio HotSPURS's Stefanos Kassanos was substituted for Sergio Hammer. A collision led to El Canalla de Chicago getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Carlo Greenberg hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Alonso Snider kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilbur Hyde. That made the score 2-1 in the 74 minute of play. Wilbur Hyde was a little too slow when Alonso Snider got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 2-2. 92 minutes into the match, San Antonio HotSPURS's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Raines came free, but Cesar Donio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilbur Hyde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Micah Alston, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
