Marshall Medina showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Marshall Medina came free, but Jude Crocker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Creekers's Ladislao Gines sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvaldo Daunte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Vicente Madruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes in the game, Riley Trotter dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Creekers's Riley Trotter got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osvaldo Daunte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Whitney Godfrey in the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Ksawery Tyszka came free, but Osvaldo Daunte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jude Crocker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chad Tuttle in the 23rd minute of the match. Marshall Medina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Jude Crocker made a huge save. In the 26thth minute of the game Whitney Godfrey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Osvaldo Daunte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Veniamin Tziortzopoulos's late challenge caught a EL LOBO DE MIAMI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Veniamin Tziortzopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marshall Medina was the one to do the kick off. Marshall Medina might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jude Crocker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
