Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Merlin Castro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tigran Balayan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Silva's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute Tio Lio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tigran Balayan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Tony Pacheco put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tigran Balayan. Tigran Balayan came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by New England Minas's Edgardo Silva. But to his dismay, Edgardo Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Edgardo Silva came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the New England Minas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Silva couldn't finish the play. Edgardo Silva took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tigran Balayan. Tigran Balayan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 21st minute Edgardo Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tigran Balayan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tigran Balayan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Merlin Castro came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Pacheco kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 32 played minutes Khachatryan got a freekick which was hit by Marquis Kenny. Tony Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Merlin Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Khachatryan getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Petros Oganesyan hit a great ball. In the 43rdth minute of the game Merlin Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Khachatryan's goalkeeper Tigran Balayan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin Castro in the 47th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hu Wei Shu in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Sung McKinley came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Silva struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Tigran Balayan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New England Minas. Tio Lio kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tigran Kirakosyan in the 59th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Khachatryan! In the 62nd minute, Edgardo Silva made a precise shot to the right of Tigran Balayan. Khachatryan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Khachatryan's Abel Avetisyan was substituted for Tigran Kirakosyan. Khachatryan's Wawrzyniec Budrewicz was substituted for Petros Oganesyan. New England Minas made a substitution. Zachery Church replaced Roman Major. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sung McKinley, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merlin Castro in the 71st minute of play. New England Minas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oscar Nordmark in the 74th minute. New England Minas's Oscar Nordmark was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tigran Balayan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sung McKinley in the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tigran Balayan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. New England Minas's Arturo Sito was substituted for Tio Lio. After 81 minutes Khachatryan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oscar Nordmark who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Xiao Bang Kun hit a great ball. In the 84th minute Abel Avetisyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Khachatryan's Kurtis Wooten got a free kick in the 84th minute. With a little luck, Khachatryan's Tigran Balayan got control of the ball when Edgardo Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Khachatryan's Sung McKinley in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye New England Minas's goalie prevented a goal. Arturo Sito who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Tigran Balayan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Khachatryan's Bin Baresi got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Khachatryan's zone, Edgardo Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tigran Balayan came out of the goal and Edgardo Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as New England Minas's Arturo Sito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tigran Balayan. That made the score 0-5 after 96 minutes of play. The Khachatryan supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching New England Minas's performance. The match ended with a win for New England Minas.
