In the 9th minute Virgilio Kennedy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paris Chatzinikolaou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kerem Aktürkoglu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgilio Kennedy took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paris Chatzinikolaou. Paris Chatzinikolaou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 25th minute Virgilio Kennedy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paris Chatzinikolaou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes in the game Lukasz Jazwiec did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lamar Arthur. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeng Xu Chang in the 29th minute of play forced Chard United's goalkeeper Randall Stevens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeng Xu Chang received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Randall Stevens came out and tried to block the shot, but Zeng Xu Chang slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 31st minute. Zack Ratliff hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Virgilio Kennedy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chard United's Randall Stevens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Chard United from getting a goal against them. Virgilio Kennedy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paris Chatzinikolaou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Rijosos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Kennedy came free, but Paris Chatzinikolaou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Randall Stevens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitório Donato in the 43rd minute of the match. Zeng Xu Chang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chard United's Martin Craven was substituted for Lamar Arthur. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgilio Kennedy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rijosos F.C.'s Paris Chatzinikolaou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Craven in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Rijosos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Cooper to maneuver through the defense. Paris Chatzinikolaou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Kennedy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes of play, Chard United's Virgilio Kennedy made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paris Chatzinikolaou was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paris Chatzinikolaou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Kennedy, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The audience was convinced that Zeng Xu Chang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Randall Stevens was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Chard United's Valeriu Tăzlăuanu suffered a sore thigh after 71 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 74 minutes in the game, Virgilio Kennedy fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Paris Chatzinikolaou having to interfere. Randall Stevens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeng Xu Chang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Martin Craven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paris Chatzinikolaou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Larry Bird kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Lukasz Jazwiec took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paris Chatzinikolaou. Rijosos F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Rijosos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Faria to maneuver through the defense. Lukasz Jazwiec was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 96th minute Zeng Xu Chang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Randall Stevens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chard United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
