The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Demiralp Bintuğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lanny Gilmore, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Guo Jun Jing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Aaron Smallwood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demiralp Bintuğ stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lanny Gilmore's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute Guo Jun Jing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Smallwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demiralp Bintuğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyron Velasquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 12 played minutes AC DeMiRHaN got a freekick which was hit by Severino Ourente. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Tyron Velasquez sped through AC DeMiRHaN's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Demiralp Bintuğ. Lanny Gilmore hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Demiralp Bintuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyron Velasquez in the 28th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Lanny Gilmore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC DeMiRHaN's Demiralp Bintuğ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santos FC's Aaron Smallwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guo Jun Jing in the 32nd minute of play. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AC DeMiRHaN! The referee gave Santos FC a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lanny Gilmore, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AC DeMiRHaN's Demiralp Bintuğ. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guo Jun Jing to make the kick off. Zachariasz Tokarczyk was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 50 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in AC DeMiRHaN fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 50th minute. Penalty! AC DeMiRHaN:s Demiralp Bintuğ showed great skill when he stopped Lanny Gilmore:s penalty. The excitement rose when Santos FC's Lanny Gilmore after 53 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for AC DeMiRHaN's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-4. Lanny Gilmore had several of the AC DeMiRHaN's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 59 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Demiralp Bintuğ as he didn't even see the shot coming. AC DeMiRHaN's Demiralp Bintuğ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save AC DeMiRHaN from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, AC DeMiRHaN's Demiralp Bintuğ got control of the ball when Lanny Gilmore tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gong Sha Zhou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Severino Ourente fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC DeMiRHaN's protests and gave Severino Ourente a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes AC DeMiRHaN got a freekick which was hit by Severino Ourente. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lanny Gilmore in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demiralp Bintuğ saved AC DeMiRHaN from getting behind. Demiralp Bintuğ had great luck who in the 77thth minute grab hold of the ball when Lanny Gilmore from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Demiralp Bintuğ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyron Velasquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demiralp Bintuğ was a little too slow when Tyron Velasquez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-7.
