Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) An unexpectedly hard shot by Kerry Sellers in the 7th minute of play forced Golden Hills's goalkeeper Egil Östlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Golden Hills's goal looked a bit too open when Kerry Sellers came free, but Egil Östlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 minutes Golden Hills's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kerry Sellers who took care of the corner kick. In the 10th minute Sidney Forbes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Östlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st play minute Ward Doran came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Farid Mondragón. 1-0. If Xu Yun Quan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sidney Forbes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egil Östlund having to make a save. In the 26th minute Sidney Forbes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Östlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xu Yun Quan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Farid Mondragón made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Ward Doran sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute Sidney Forbes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Östlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egil Östlund came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Independiente's Sidney Forbes. But to his dismay, Sidney Forbes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Egil Östlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xu Yun Quan in the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Golden Hills's Sandy Hollandsworth got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Ward Doran took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Farid Mondragón. Farid Mondragón dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xu Yun Quan to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Hills's zone, Sidney Forbes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egil Östlund came out of the goal and Sidney Forbes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute Sidney Forbes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Östlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidney Forbes got free with Egil Östlund in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute, Sidney Forbes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. Independiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 63rd minute, Sandy Hollandsworth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xu Yun Quan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Xu Yun Quan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Farid Mondragón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ward Doran, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Egil Östlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kerry Sellers in the 71st minute. Golden Hills's Jerold Brownell quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Qiu Fan Ran, made in the 74th minute of the game. 75 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Ward Doran came free, but Farid Mondragón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xu Yun Quan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egil Östlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. C. A. Independiente's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kerry Sellers in the 77th minute. C. A. Independiente's Xu Yun Quan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Egil Östlund in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Egil Östlund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xu Yun Quan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 78 minute of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Farid Mondragón, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Qiu Fan Ran kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Golden Hills's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kerry Sellers was slow to take the kick. During this time C. A. Independiente's players had a chance to rest. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. C. A. Independiente had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
