The supporters of Atletico Patoruzu booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Titus Kohler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldo Hawk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lanny Gilmore in the 13th minute of play. Warren Ruiz went to the cornerflag to take it. Santos FC's Warren Ruiz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aldo Hawk in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aldo Hawk made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Tyron Velasquez sent off a good shot on target. Aaron Smallwood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noah Hobson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lanny Gilmore scored 1-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aldo Hawk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Warren Ruiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Warren Ruiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Hawk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gualterio Aguirre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Titus Kohler kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Rúben Verdun made in the 66th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ezra Shepard. 70 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goalkeeper Aaron Smallwood had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teobaldo Gaizkine. After a rather tough play, Atletico Patoruzu's Noah Hobson got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute of the match Warren Ruiz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aldo Hawk skillfully saved the ball. In the 76th minute Diego Latorre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Smallwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Atletico Patoruzu's Ezra Shepard got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Lanny Gilmore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aldo Hawk having to make a save. 84 minutes into the match, Atletico Patoruzu's goal looked a bit too open when Lanny Gilmore came free, but Aldo Hawk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Tyron Velasquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Santos FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Warren Ruiz hit a great ball. Santos FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Atletico Patoruzu for a fine match.
