Stowe City's Kaj Helström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernie Dixon in the 5th minute of play. Leo Bingham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Bingham in the 11th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Roman Rollins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Leo Bingham came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Stowe City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Bingham couldn't finish the play. Kaj Helström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from J.C. Ogden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Vitinho Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaj Helström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 28 in the game by Niles Crane from a close distance when the talented Roman Rollins managed to make a qualified save. Boca Juniors's players were relieved. In the 31st minute, Niles Crane made a precise shot to the right of Roman Rollins. Boca Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Matt Briggs's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matt Briggs helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Stowe City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matt Briggs didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Roman Rollins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niles Crane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roman Rollins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niles Crane, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The corner led Boca Juniors's Ernie Dixon to fire away a dangerous shot which Kaj Helström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kaj Helström made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Vitinho Diniz sent off a good shot on target. Kaj Helström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of J.C. Ogden's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After 63 played minutes Stowe City got a freekick which was hit by Matt Briggs. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Cyryl Karpinski replaced J.C. Ogden. After 64 played minutes Stowe City got a freekick which was hit by Matt Briggs. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Kaj Helström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Roman Rollins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Bingham, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Stowe City's goal looked a bit too open when Ernie Dixon came free, but Kaj Helström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vitinho Diniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Kaj Helström made a huge save. After 72 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Jason Stuart. Stowe City's İsmail Pekşen was substituted for Nils-Emil Tunström. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Neil Kemp replaced Vitinho Diniz. The supporters of Stowe City booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jason Stuart didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Niles Crane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Rollins was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Boca Juniors players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Stowe City.
