An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Pinheiro in the 39th minute of play forced Pinhote FC's goalkeeper Joacim First to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hudson de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Koenig in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Pinhote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holger Siöberg to maneuver through the defense. After 44 played minutes, São Francisco FC86's Hilário Porto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joacim First came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line.
