The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. São Francisco FC86's Hudson de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Pinho in the 13th minute of play. Danilo Pinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hudson de Carvalho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danilo Pinho ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Pinho in the 21st minute of play forced São Francisco FC86's goalkeeper Hudson de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Furo Rede who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lidador F.C.'s Tamás Albert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 32 minutes, Furo Rede made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lidador F.C.'s Tamás Albert tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute Ronaldo Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tamás Albert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delfim Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hudson de Carvalho having to interfere. Hudson de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Pinho in the 38th minute of the match. Danilo Pinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hudson de Carvalho having to make a save. São Francisco FC86's Hudson de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save São Francisco FC86 from getting a goal against them. Tamás Albert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Furo Rede's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Alcides Zambujal thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Tamás Albert, a very annoying self made goal in the 48th minute which led to 0-2. After the first half São Francisco FC86 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Furo Rede made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Pinho in the 64th minute of play forced São Francisco FC86's goalkeeper Hudson de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Furo Rede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tamás Albert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lidador F.C.'s Delfim Oliveira in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tamás Albert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Pinheiro in the 81st minute of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Danial Boon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lidador F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Danial Boon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in São Francisco FC86's zone, Danial Boon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hudson de Carvalho came out of the goal and Danial Boon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodoro Vasques kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Hudson de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danial Boon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hudson de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Oliveira in the 93rd minute of play. When Jorge Maltez fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored São Francisco FC86's protests and gave Jorge Maltez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to São Francisco FC86 getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Jorge Maltez hit a great ball. After 100 played minutes São Francisco FC86 got a freekick which was hit by Denis Sabino. The Lidador F.C. manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing São Francisco FC86 to win.
