In the 9th minute Fabrício Baía shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Espírito Santo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Santana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Alfréd Fenyvessy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alfredo Santana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Nash in the 19th minute of play forced Sporting Tuga FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dave Nash fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Santana having to interfere. Dave Nash hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Júlio César made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Jesus in the 24th minute of play. Alfredo Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Nash, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Espírito Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Alfredo Santana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dave Nash's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Alfredo Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfréd Fenyvessy in the 46th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Marco Espírito Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot. AD Oliveirense's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Espírito Santo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Figueiredo was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Espírito Santo in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredo Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfréd Fenyvessy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dave Nash got free with Alfredo Santana in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as AD Oliveirense's Dave Nash slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfredo Santana. That made the score 0-3 after 63 minutes of play. 67 minutes into the match, Sporting Tuga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Espírito Santo came free, but Alfredo Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio César didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Figueiredo went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. AD Oliveirense made a substitution. Adão Vilela replaced 余坤兴. AD Oliveirense's LeBron Naldo was substituted for Dave Nash. Alfredo Santana was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Celedonio Berenguer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 74 minute of play. Sporting Tuga FC's Alfredo Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Berenguer in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, AD Oliveirense's LeBron Naldo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfredo Santana. Alfredo Santana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. With a little luck, Sporting Tuga FC's Alfredo Santana got control of the ball when LeBron Naldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th play minute LeBron Naldo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alfredo Santana. 1-6. Sporting Tuga FC's Alfredo Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Berenguer in the 89th minute of play. Alfredo Santana made an important save on a dangerous shot by LeBron Naldo in the 91st minute. Alfredo Santana made an important save on a dangerous shot by LeBron Naldo in the 93rd minute. After taking down the ball on AD Oliveirense's corner Fabrício Baía fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfredo Santana quite easily take care of the ball. AD Oliveirense's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
