When Micael Borges came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Portucale H5 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Micael Borges couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Hamilton Espírito Santo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of André Carmo, 1-0. André Carmo was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Aníbal Barroso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aníbal Barroso really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. André Carmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Loukianos Livas was the one to do the kick off. Aníbal Barroso took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Carmo. André Carmo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. André Carmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Albuquerque in the 60th minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, Portucale H5 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Vale to maneuver through the defense. After 71 minutes of play, Portucale H5's Hélio De Sousa made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 79th minute Hélio De Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Carmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Portucale H5's António Pimenta got control of the ball when Loukianos Livas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Loukianos Livas got free with António Pimenta in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Portucale H5 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ponte do Carro had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
