The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s goalkeeper Kristopher Johnson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nuno Vale made a great header on Portucale H5's corner, it was just that QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Kristopher Johnson managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Vale got free with Kristopher Johnson in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute, Aníbal Barroso made a precise shot to the right of Kristopher Johnson. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice moves Nuno Vale could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Kristopher Johnson however easily saved by the left post. If Nuno Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiano Medeiros hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Nuno Vale was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Kristopher Johnson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Barroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Ilídio Abrantes hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Nuno Vale sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kristopher Johnson skillfully saved the ball. 35 minutes into the game, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Miroslav Klose nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. António Pimenta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Aníbal Barroso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristopher Johnson having to make a save. In the 45th minute, Ilídio Abrantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Portucale H5 booed when QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Durbac didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Barroso in the 54th minute of play forced QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s goalkeeper Kristopher Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Hamilton Espírito Santo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Portucale H5's Hélio De Sousa was substituted for Hamilton Espírito Santo. In the 76th match minute, Portucale H5 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Dias to maneuver through the defense. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. made a substitution. José Guimarães replaced Gigel Durbac. The supporters of QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. booed when Portucale H5 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Although Portucale H5 had been in control for most of the match, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. still came away with the win.
