Gentil Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Gomes in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, FC M4RM3L4D45 D3 C1M4's Norberto Souto got control of the ball when Palmiro Picasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Palmiro Picasso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Norberto Souto came out and tried to block the shot, but Palmiro Picasso slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 27th minute. Gentil Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilídio Menezes in the 31st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, FC M4RM3L4D45 D3 C1M4's Fabiano Cesário dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1.
