Eriberto Bonadona was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teodoro Freire showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregório Neiva got free with David Bastos in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Mira United FC's David Bastos threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gilberto Messias, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gregório Neiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but David Bastos made a huge save. Gregório Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. David Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Gregório Neiva took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for David Bastos to make any attempt to save it. Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
