The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Frits Sap came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Minho FC's Cristopher de Alcântara. But to his dismay, Cristopher de Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Minho FC were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after ÓKINJÔ FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Demetrio Savini took the corner. Minho FC's Demetrio Savini was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Frits Sap in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. ÓKINJÔ FC's Frits Sap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristopher de Alcântara in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, ÓKINJÔ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristopher de Alcântara came free, but Frits Sap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind ÓKINJÔ FC's goalkeeper Frits Sap, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th play minute Cristopher de Alcântara came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Frits Sap. 3-0. 36 minutes into the match, Minho FC's Cristopher de Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frits Sap narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristopher de Alcântara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frits Sap read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Cristopher de Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristopher de Alcântara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frits Sap read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Cristopher de Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristopher de Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Minho FC's Cristopher de Alcântara got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Cristopher de Alcântara made the kick off in the second half. If Cristopher de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ÓKINJÔ FC's goalkeeper Frits Sap, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frits Sap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristopher de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The supporters of Minho FC booed when ÓKINJÔ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Min Nao didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind ÓKINJÔ FC's goalkeeper Frits Sap, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, Minho FC's Cristopher de Alcântara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frits Sap made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Frits Sap came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Minho FC's Cristopher de Alcântara. But to his dismay, Cristopher de Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The supporters of ÓKINJÔ FC booed when Minho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Pellecchia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amável Baldaia got free with Zeferino Diegues in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cláudio Santiago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Min Nao made in the 87th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Alexandrino Sesimbra however managed to control. Frits Sap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristopher de Alcântara in the 88th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Deivid Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute Alexandrino Sesimbra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeferino Diegues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute ÓKINJÔ FC were awarded a corner. Moisés Chagas went to the cornerflag to take it. For all the effort they put into the match, the ÓKINJÔ FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Minho FC.
