Tiburcio Liher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziemowit Gdowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Evaristo Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Teófilo Estrela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiburcio Liher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziemowit Gdowski in the 42nd minute of play. Evaristo Cortez's late challenge caught a Viseu United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Altamora FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Altamora FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Viseu United were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ziemowit Gdowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Israel Barea took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Tiburcio Liher to make any attempt to save it. In the 90th minute, Célio Leite made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Txindoki. Viseu United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Viseu United's Adrian Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Leite in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Altamora FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
