Pankracy Zajonc made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Jürgen Behnke sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Pankracy Zajonc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jürgen Behnke. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cai Yuan Yuan made a kick off. After 50 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Florin Dragușin. In the 55th minute Cai Yuan Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Oblak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Andarilhos defense, Cai Yuan Yuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jon Oblak. The Andarilhos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jon Oblak should have stopped the shot. MZ Fénix made a substitution. Alexandre Valido replaced Vladimiro Granja.
