After taking down the ball on Garanhão do SUL's corner Torcato Rebocho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and 朱延岩 quite easily take care of the ball. In the 12th match minute, Rua da Pinga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Fragoso to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, Garanhão do SUL's Edgar Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 朱延岩 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If André Roriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignatius Casasola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Fragoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Costa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 朱延岩 came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgar Costa slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, André Roriz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 25 minutes, Edgar Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garanhão do SUL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignatius Casasola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Fragoso in the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Júlio Fragoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rua da Pinga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 35th minute, Edgar Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 朱延岩 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Roriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 45 minutes of play, Garanhão do SUL's André Roriz made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 朱延岩 was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cezary Karpinski to make the kick off. If Edgar Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezary Karpinski in the 54th minute of play. Ignatius Casasola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezary Karpinski in the 55th minute of the match. In the last second Ignatius Casasola throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cezary Karpinski in the 57thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The Garanhão do SUL fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Garanhão do SUL's Torcato Rebocho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Rua da Pinga's Felippe Ramalho got a free kick in the 65th minute. Garanhão do SUL's Angel Edorta was substituted for 龙然明. Garanhão do SUL's Obafemi Fabiani was substituted for André Roriz. Garanhão do SUL's Albano Leizarraga was substituted for Edgar Costa. In the 66th match minute, Rua da Pinga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felippe Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. Garanhão do SUL's Akis Kefallinos got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Felippe Ramalho fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rua da Pinga's protests and gave Felippe Ramalho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th match minute, Rua da Pinga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felippe Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Rua da Pinga's zone, Obafemi Fabiani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 朱延岩 came out of the goal and Obafemi Fabiani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Obafemi Fabiani in the 72nd minute of play forced Rua da Pinga's goalkeeper 朱延岩 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rua da Pinga's Felippe Ramalho got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Felippe Ramalho off the ground. After 75 played minutes Rua da Pinga got a freekick which was hit by Felippe Ramalho. 朱延岩 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Leizarraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albano Leizarraga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 朱延岩 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Ignatius Casasola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 85 minutes of play, Rua da Pinga's Etienne Krummenacher made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignatius Casasola was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the game, Albano Leizarraga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. 朱延岩 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Rua da Pinga's zone, Albano Leizarraga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 朱延岩 came out of the goal and Albano Leizarraga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Albano Leizarraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Rua da Pinga defense, Albano Leizarraga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 朱延岩. The Rua da Pinga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 朱延岩 should have stopped the shot. Garanhão do SUL's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
