The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match, Trifon Katsoulis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nivaldo Vale saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 7 minutes into the match, F.C.Bacha's goal looked a bit too open when Trifon Katsoulis came free, but Nivaldo Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trifon Katsoulis in the 11th minute of play forced F.C.Bacha's goalkeeper Nivaldo Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Andarilhos's Gonzalo Montiel got a free kick in the 12th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Andarilhos's goal looked a bit too open when Palmiro Colaço came free, but Jon Oblak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palmiro Colaço scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jon Oblak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jürgen Behnke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nivaldo Vale having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 58th minute, Trifon Katsoulis made a precise shot to the right of Nivaldo Vale. F.C.Bacha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. F.C.Bacha's Nivaldo Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jürgen Behnke in the 76th minute of play. Balendín Rubio's late challenge caught a Andarilhos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Balendín Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, F.C.Bacha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balendín Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Andarilhos made a substitution. Andrzej Zawaski replaced Trifon Katsoulis. 80 minutes into the match, Andarilhos's Andrzej Zawaski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nivaldo Vale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fu Han Qiang in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nivaldo Vale saved F.C.Bacha from getting behind. Fu Han Qiang might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nivaldo Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fu Han Qiang ran back to his position shaking his head. The corner led Andarilhos's Adriano Ramires to fire away a dangerous shot which Nivaldo Vale despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, F.C.Bacha's Santos Guillelme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jon Oblak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Andarilhos had played much better football throughout.
