SLB TELHA's Hildeberto Cortez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dário Sarmento in the 13 minute of the game. In the 14th minute, Patrik Beaton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 minutes, Noel Marinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SLB TELHA and the Benficajuvestars players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Marinho to maneuver through the defense. When Dário Sarmento fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Benficajuvestars's protests and gave Dário Sarmento a yellow card for diving instead. Dário Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Rui Patrício showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Beaton in the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of Benficajuvestars booed when SLB TELHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, SLB TELHA's Patrik Beaton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rui Patrício narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rui Patrício didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrik Beaton went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noel Marinho in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Patrício saved Benficajuvestars from getting behind. Jerry Nykvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lisandro Festas came out and tried to block the shot, but Jerry Nykvist slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 32nd minute. If Isaac Chesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lisandro Festas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Vilas Boas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noel Marinho to strike the kick off in the second half. Patrik Beaton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 53 minutes of play, Benficajuvestars's Jerry Nykvist made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lisandro Festas was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the SLB TELHA defense, Salvador Vilas Boas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lisandro Festas. The SLB TELHA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lisandro Festas should have stopped the shot. 68 minutes into the match, SLB TELHA's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Vilas Boas came free, but Lisandro Festas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaac Chesus kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Lisandro Festas came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Benficajuvestars's Salvador Vilas Boas. But to his dismay, Salvador Vilas Boas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After a rather tough play, SLB TELHA's Bento Ribeiro got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 75 minutes, Bianco Pietropaolo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SLB TELHA and the Benficajuvestars players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SLB TELHA getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Bianco Pietropaolo hit a great ball. When Ziemowit Moczkiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Benficajuvestars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ziemowit Moczkiewicz couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute Salvador Vilas Boas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Festas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Jerry Nykvist made a precise shot to the right of Lisandro Festas. SLB TELHA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. A sloppy throw-in by Dário Sarmento in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SLB TELHA's Hildeberto Cortez. Benficajuvestars's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
