Monte Lobato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassiano Brochado in the 9th minute of the match. A.D.ESMOJÃES's attack was well implemented in the 9th minute, but when Cassiano Brochado was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Monte Lobato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassiano Brochado in the 11th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cassiano Brochado came free, but Monte Lobato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severiano Torcato charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severiano Torcato the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th minute, Severiano Torcato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th match minute, Tasso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Machado Assis to maneuver through the defense. Monte Lobato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Bulhosa in the 20th minute of play. Laureano Rijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chu Tasso in the 25th minute of play. A.D.ESMOJÃES were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Tasso FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mateus Baldaia took the corner. Alexandrino Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Chu Tasso made a precise shot to the right of Laureano Rijo. A.D.ESMOJÃES's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tasso FC! 45 minutes into the match, Cassiano Brochado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Monte Lobato. Tasso FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cassiano Brochado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chu Tasso made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Tasso FC got a corner. A.D.ESMOJÃES's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Machado Assis ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Tasso FC's corner Severiano Torcato fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Laureano Rijo quite easily take care of the ball. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Severiano Torcato sped through A.D.ESMOJÃES's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Laureano Rijo. Mateus Baldaia took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Monte Lobato. Monte Lobato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 59th minute, Gai Vazquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tasso FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Cassiano Brochado scored to the left of an out of position Monte Lobato, making the score, 2-5. Laureano Rijo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chu Tasso's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. The supporters of Tasso FC booed when A.D.ESMOJÃES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Chayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laureano Rijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chu Tasso in the 73rd minute of play. Monte Lobato made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Cassiano Brochado sent off a good shot on target. After 76 minutes, Machado Assis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tasso FC and the A.D.ESMOJÃES players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tasso FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Machado Assis hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Tasso FC's Machado Assis got a free kick in the 77th minute. Richard Dawkins might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laureano Rijo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richard Dawkins ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute Richard Dawkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Rijo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, A.D.ESMOJÃES's Cassiano Brochado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Monte Lobato made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-6. Monte Lobato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Bulhosa in the 87th minute of the match. A.D.ESMOJÃES's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
