An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiang De in the 6th minute of play forced VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Fiúza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Caeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquim de Barros in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Samuel Fiúza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Álvaro Rezende got a throw-in 18 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Qiu Sheng Bang. 19 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's goalkeeper Samuel Fiúza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim de Barros. The supporters of Gremio Viana booed when VB-Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jiang De had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang De came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Jiang De managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gremio Viana's supporters rose to their feet, but Jiang De was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armindo Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim de Barros got free with Samuel Fiúza in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jiang De made a kick off. Gremio Viana's attentive Albi Koka managed to snatch the ball when Arthur Guerra made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. Álvaro Rezende made in the 57th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Qiu Sheng Bang. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save VB-Team from getting a goal against them. After 64 minutes, Luís Caeiro made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gremio Viana's Samuel Fiúza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Samuel Fiúza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim de Barros in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Fiúza saved Gremio Viana from getting behind. In the 72nd minute Carlos Luna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Fiúza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Caeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Gremio Viana's Mohamed Ali Bomba was substituted for Severino Torcato. Gremio Viana made a substitution. Antonio Calisto replaced Tony Påk. Alisson De Gasperi kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. VB-Team made a substitution. Yu Ke Hong replaced Alisson De Gasperi. After 80 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Alisson De Gasperi. 93 minutes in the game Yu Ke Hong did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gervásio Severiano. When VB-Team's Joaquim de Barros in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gremio Viana's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the VB-Team players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
