Durval Lage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Caeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervásio Severiano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Caeiro in the 16th minute of play forced LA COSA NOSTRA's goalkeeper Durval Lage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, LA COSA NOSTRA's Aristides Mascarenhas got a free kick in the 32nd minute. LA COSA NOSTRA's Durval Lage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervásio Severiano in the 33rd minute of play.
