Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Timóteo Lage started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Gremio Viana's Samuel Fiúza got control of the ball when 乔义竞 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's goalkeeper Samuel Fiúza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 乔义竞. After 9 minutes, Rubim Malheiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LA COSA NOSTRA and the Gremio Viana players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rubim Malheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Amado Melo took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Durval Lage. Durval Lage dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jiang De might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Durval Lage. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jiang De ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldo Paixão during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 30 minutes into the game, Jiang De cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Durval Lage was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th minute, Jiang De made a precise shot to the right of Durval Lage. LA COSA NOSTRA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 39th minute, 乔义竞 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Durval Lage didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jiang De went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After the first half Gremio Viana were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jiang De struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Durval Lage didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gremio Viana. The crowd rose to their feet as Gremio Viana's Jiang De slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Durval Lage. That made the score 0-6 after 56 minutes of play. A collision led to LA COSA NOSTRA getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ronaldo Paixão hit a great ball. Durval Lage was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jiang De showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 61 minute of play. Gremio Viana's Carlos Luna was substituted for Jiang De. Carlos Luna hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Carlos Luna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Durval Lage made a huge save. In the 74th minute, 乔义竞 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to LA COSA NOSTRA getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. 乔义竞 hit a great ball. A collision led to Gremio Viana getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Carlos Luna hit a great ball. 乔义竞 scored 1-7 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Fiúza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd match minute, LA COSA NOSTRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Paixão to maneuver through the defense. Durval Lage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Luna, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Augustin Panaiteanu made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by LA COSA NOSTRA's Timóteo Lage. Carlos Luna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Durval Lage having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Luna got free with Durval Lage in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Carlos Luna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Gremio Viana's Durval Lage threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Luna, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Durval Lage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Luna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Gremio Viana could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than LA COSA NOSTRA throughout the match.
